Reason of the choice of components :

Magnesium - Mg :

This element, major in term of concentration, is the cofactor of several enzymes involved in the muscle energy metabolism. All the oxidative phosphorylations depends on the magnesium . With zinc, the Mg plays the role of coenzyme of DNA polymerase and control the mitosis. A diet too rich in phosphates, excess alcohol, lack of vitamins D and B6, too much coffee causes a depletion of the magnesium. Needs in Mg are 6 mg / kg / day and our food supplies us approximately 300 mg / day. Its deficiency causes abnormalities of cell membranes and muscle disorders.

The metabolism of Mg is related to phosphorus and calcium and thus at the activity of parathormone. The majority of Mg is found in intracellular compartments. The intake proposed here is suited well under the form of malate of Mg given that the malic acid (an acid of the Krebs cycle) under the action of the fumarase leads to the fumaric acid precursor of the succinic acid, this last one is directly involved in the energy metabolism and the biosynthesis of amino acids.

OPC - Activin :

The Valerian :

The extract of Valerian root contains valeopotriates (valtrate and isovaltrate) known for their sedative action. These compounds are known for their anti-convulsant and anti-epileptic properties. Valerian acts on the synapses and benzodiazepine receptors (GABA). The muscle spasms are reduced.

The extract of Longa Turmeric

The turmeric extract  is used for its analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. By its high concentration of curcumin which has an inhibitory action on cyclo-oxygenase(COX2), leukotrienes and prostaglandins. 

Ginseng Extract (Panax)

Traditionally used to increase vitality, ginseng has been chosen for its adaptogenic effect of stress especially for people with fibromyalgia. Its relatively low concentration in the product does not cause insomnia.
